Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before you begin
If your question is not answered here, use the contact page and we will get back to you.
Do I need to be an expert in the subject I am helping to produce?
No. Your role is production support — organizing, drafting, editing, and formatting source material supplied by the expert or client. The client is always responsible for subject expertise, factual accuracy, and final sign-off. This masterclass teaches you to work with what you are given, not to invent knowledge you do not have.
What does "AI-assisted" actually mean in this context?
It means using AI writing and editing tools to handle parts of the drafting process — generating first drafts from approved notes, suggesting alternative phrasings, expanding bullet points into paragraphs, and reformatting content. You remain in charge of quality, judgment, and the client relationship. The masterclass teaches you a supervised workflow, not an automated one.
What AI tools does the curriculum use?
The curriculum is tool-agnostic. It teaches a production method and workflow that can be applied with commonly available AI writing tools. No proprietary software or paid subscription to a specific platform is required to work through the masterclass.
I have no previous experience in course or e-book production. Can I still do this?
Yes. The masterclass starts from the beginning and builds every skill in sequence. If you are comfortable working with text — writing, reading, editing — and are willing to put in the learning time, no prior production experience is needed.
How is the masterclass delivered?
The masterclass is a recorded, self-paced learning programme. You work through the five modules at your own pace, completing the practice exercise for each stage before moving to the next. There are no scheduled live sessions.
How long does it take to complete?
Most learners work through all five modules in two to four weeks, dedicating a few hours a week to the material and the practice exercises. If you can give more time, you can move faster — it is entirely self-paced.
Will I have a sample deliverable to show potential clients?
Yes. Each module includes a practice exercise, and they build on each other. By the time you finish module 5, you will have worked through a complete mock production project — an outlined, drafted, edited, formatted, and reviewed sample asset you can use as a portfolio piece.
What kind of clients or projects would I be helping with?
Typical clients are coaches, consultants, trainers, and subject-matter experts who want to publish an online course or e-book but need production support to get there. Projects might include a five-module online course, a practical guide or how-to e-book, or a reference toolkit for a professional audience.
Could this become a real income source?
It is possible. Production-support work is a real, paid service. Many people who develop an organized outlining, editing, and formatting practice find they can potentially earn extra income offering it — working from home, on a flexible schedule. How much you could earn depends on your effort, the quality of your work, how effectively you find clients, and market demand. This product is educational; income is not guaranteed and results vary. What is the difference between course production and e-book production?
The underlying skills are almost identical — audience planning, outlining, drafting, editing, formatting, and rights/handoff. The main differences are format: a course is typically broken into short video lessons or guided modules with exercises, while an e-book is a longer, flowing document. The masterclass covers both, and the practice materials include both formats.
Is this suitable for people outside a specific country?
The masterclass is delivered in English and the production skills it teaches are applicable worldwide. The service you could offer targets a global market of content creators and subject-matter experts who need production support.
